The gate sits open with no one getting out
My heart feels empty filling with doubt
Where once there was life
Is now quiet space
Crowing and cooing have been erased
And replaced
With wind
And stars
And new dreams
Heart bursting at the seams
Leaving a life I dreamed about
Longed for
Our fourteenth move

A new home awaits
